Dentro l'Acquario tutto si muove ad un ritmo diverso. È un mondo protetto e vibrante, in cui è naturale immergersi e perdersi per ore ed ore tra movimenti lenti e sfrenati, tra sonorità techno e armonie abissali.

Acquario è un progetto autofinanziato, nato all’interno dell’associazione culturale Masada. Qui ritmi profondi e abissali trovano il loro ambiente ideale.

La musica è una questione di connessioni, ed è più vitale quando ti parla con una voce che solo tu sembri sentire. Per Refracted, la musica elettronica e la techno in particolare, sono il mezzo per trovare la sua voce unica, per connettersi.

E un numero crescente di persone, che considerano la techno qualcosa di più che mero intrattenimento o semplice colonna sonora per ballare, si riconoscono nella peculiarità del suo suono e della sua visione. Ciò è dovuto al fatto che la musica di Refracted è fondamentalmente umana ma suona ultraterrena, è più un concetto, un’idea, che un suono facilmente identificabile. È musica da dancefloor in cui i layer ritmicii agiscono quasi a livello neurale, sub epidermico, mentre i paesaggi sonori in continuo movimento ed evoluzione acquisiscono una fisicità tattile e discreta. Esempi di questo tipo si possono trovare nelle release sull'etichetta Mind Express di Refracted e su etichette celebri come la canadese ambient / deep-techno Silent Season e Pole Group, il suo percorso si sviluppa su una qualità costante rispetto alla quantità.

Le dinamiche create da questo desiderio di allontanarci dallo spazio e dal sé, radicate in un approccio elementale e naturalistico, che catalizza la scoperta di sé interiore, sono anche alla base del suo djing. Spirituali, quasi meditativi, anche i suoi set possiedono una sortaenergia cinetica, peculiarità di un dj che conosce il ruolo fondamentale della danza come parte del rituale. Vuole portarci da qualche parte, il “dove” è di nostra scelta, la pista non è mai la più percorsa.

Sciahri
Dj e producer italo-iraniano, co-owner di Sublunar Records, il suo approccio si basa sulla costruzione di un sound che fonde il meglio delle influenze club-oriented con la costante sperimentazione in fase di produzione.

Ha debuttato nel 2014 con un ep sull’acclamata label Ilian Tape nel 2014, a cui sono seguite release su Opal Tapes, Mord Records, un altro ep su Ilian Tape, MANHIGH, come anche una trilogia, un EP e un contributo al progetto Corpora sulla sua Sublunar. Nel 2019 pubblica il suo primo LP, in cui esprime le sue emozioni con una semplicità sconvolgente, attraverso un suono meticoloso ma allo stesso tempo primordiale.
Lo stesso Sciahri prova a trasmettere con i suoi dj set, energici e vigorosi quanto introspettivi.

È anche co-fondatore di UNKNOT insieme a Emanuele Porcinai, progetto uscito su Contort, l’etichetta di Samuel Kerridge.

Within the Acquario everything moves to a different tune. It is a safe and vibrant world, in which you immerse yourself naturally and get lost for hours and hours between slow and wild movements, sounds and harmonies from the abyss.
Acquario: immersions, #technodivani (which litteraly means “technosofas”)

Acquario is a self-financed project, born in the cultural hub of the association Masada. Here deep rhythms find their right habitat.

Refracted
Music is all about connections, and is at it's most vital when it speaks to you in a voice only you seem to hear. For Refracted, electronic music, and techno in particular, is the chosen medium to find his unique voice, to connect.

And a growing number of people, wanting more from techno than formulaic entertainment and a soundtrack to dance to, are connecting with his particular vision and peculiar sound. This might be because Refracted's music feels as fundamentally human as it sounds otherworldly. It is techno more as an idea and conduit, than as an easily-labeled sound. It is dance music where layered rhythms act almost on a neural, sub epidermal level, while moving and evolving soundscapes acquire a tactile, understated physicality. Paramount examples of this can be found on releases on Refracted's own Mind Express label, and on celebrated labels like Canadian ambient/deep-techno imprint Silent Season and Pole Group, his path unravelling further, a mind set on favoring unflinching quality over quantity.

The dynamics created by this yearning to displace us from space and self, while rooted in a elemental, naturalistic approach, which catalyzes inner self discovery, are also at the foundation of his DJing. Spiritual, almost meditative, his sets possess a kinetic energy as well, which is a clear indication of a DJ who knows the fundamental role of dancing as part of the ritual. He wants to take us somewhere, the “where” being of our own choosing, the trail never being the most travelled.

Sciahri
Italo/Iranian Dj / producer and Co-Owner of Sublunar Records, Sciahri's approach to music is focused on the craft of sound that blends the best of his energetic club-oriented influences with his constant experimentation in the sound development stage. He debuted with an EP on the acclaimed techno imprint Ilian Tape at the end of 2014, followed by releases on Black Opal / Opal Tapes, Mord Records, another Ep on Ilian Tape, MANHIGH, as well as a trilogy, an EP and a contribute for the Corpora project on his Sublunar recordings. In the 2019 he released his first album "Double-Edged, with this Lp Sciahri aims to express emotions with unsettling simplicity, showcasing techno compositions that are both thoughtful and primal.

His DJ sets try to convey, with the same intent of his studio productions, a vigorous vibe throughout a whole musical experience that isn't a bare soulless banging, but rather a deep introspection into one's primitive musical being.

He is also co-founder and part of UNKNOT together with Emanuele Porcinai, in Contort as WSR.
