Philip Frobos dei Carnivores e Frankie Broyles dei Deerhunter hanno dato luce a una nuova creatura che rispolvera il post-punk in chiave indipendente americana: è un omaggio sentito a Wire, Pylon e Devo e al sound ruggente delle chitarre elettriche a cavallo fra 70s e 80s.
