"JOJASKA HA DUE PAIA DI OCCHIALI"

Conosciamo il mondo per l’effetto che questo ha su di noi. Il nostro “io” assorbe informazioni da tutto ciò che lo circonda e le trasforma in concetti, idee, opinioni che ci rendono familiare il mondo così come lo
conosciamo. Jojaska, riprendendo il brillante esempio addotto da... Kant nella “Critica della ragion pura”,
indossa, oltre alle lenti dello spazio e del tempo, anche un secondo paio di occhiali che le permettono di
sintetizzare le immagini fotografiche attraverso la grafica, riuscendo così ad individuare e definire le
impressioni che queste immagini le hanno suggerito al momento dello scatto. Un lavoro ermetico, per certi versi, come altro non può essere un’opera che miri all’essenza della semplificazione. Scarificando l’immagine fotografica vengono tolti tutti i dettagli superflui ed aggiunti, in sottovoce, spunti di riflessione. Lo spazio ed il tempo presenti nella manifestazione fotografica, anche se non dichiarati, vengono disciolti nella
reinterpretazione grafica dove il “cosa” lascia spazio all’intangibilità dell’impressione e dell’empatia.

We know the world for the effect it has on us. Our "I" absorbs information from everything that surrounds it and transforms it into concepts, ideas and opinions that make the world as familiar as we know it. Jojaska, taking up the brilliant example given by Kant in the "Critique of pure reason" wears, in addition to the lenses of space and time, also a second pair of glasses that allows her to synthesize photographic images through graphics, thus being able to identify and define the impressions that these images have suggested at the time of shooting. A hermetic work, in some ways, like anything else can not be a work that aims at the
essence of simplification. By scarifing the photographic image all the superfluous details are removed while adding, in subheading, food for thought. The space and time present in the photographic manifestation, even if not declared, are dissolved in the graphic reinterpretation where the "thing" leaves room to the intangibility of the impression and of the empathy.
