Il progetto ANDEAD nasce nel 2007 da un'idea di Andrea Rock. Dopo oltre 10 anni di palchi condivisi con diverse band, Andrea sceglie di tornare al genere punk per esprimere un punto di vista inedito sul mondo musicale e sulla realtà della scena alternative. Con il primo album, attraverso metafore con il mondo dell'horror e dei fumetti, muove una critica verso il m...ondo della discografia italiana che tende ad affossare la creatività degli artisti. Con With Passionate Heart, due anni più tardi, si sottolinea quanto sia importante per un musicista suonare "con cuore appassionato" e, nelle 11 tracce dell'album, il gruppo racconta l'amore verso la musica che li ha cresciuti. L'ultimo lavoro è IV The Underdogs, 14 tracce di punk rock serrato, animate da forte rivalsa sociale. L'intensa attività live del gruppo ha portato a condividere palchi con i più grandi artisti internazionali dell'ambito: dai Social Distortion ai Dropkick Murphys, dai Misfits ai Sum 41, dai Pogues agli AFI. Andrea, Stefano e Gianluca sono stati anche in tour in Italia e in Europa insieme al batterista dei Ramones, Marky Ramone.

I Flatmates 205 si formano a Mirafiori, zona sud di Torino a fine 2015. Il primo concerto è nel gennaio 2016, e da quel momento il gruppo comincia a fare live, conoscendo altre band a concorsi come Pagella non solo Rock (dove nel 2017 arrivano terzi), e suonando a concerti e festival in Piemonte e Lombardia, tra cui al Balla coi Cinghiali '17, dove aprono a Eugenio in Via di Gioia, Macabra Moka e Woodoo Dolls. Propongono musica di genere pop-punk, di ispirazione primi anni duemila, cantata in inglese e italiano. Punti di forza del gruppo sono il coinvolgimento col pubblico, che sovente ricambia con moshpit e supporto, e la versatilità nel passare da canzoni super catchy e spensierate a canzoni più introspettive. Il 2018 coincide con l'ingresso in studio, e il 13 aprile scorso è uscito il primo Ep, da 5 brani, “Leave it All”. Nell'estate 2018 il gruppo gira in Piemonte promuovendo il disco, suonando a diversi festival locali e concerti (Ingria Festival, Green Day Italia Fest, Hardcore non si comanda, Officine Sonore, Xylema, Macs Inghio...) e aprendo a due gruppi stranieri in tour: The Lillingtons (USA) e i Drongos for Europe (UK). Il 2019 vede il gruppo impegnato a preparare l'uscita di un nuovo singolo, e la data milanese a marzo con Dany (Ex Pornoriviste).

Andead – Rise of the Underdogs
Andead is a punk rock band from Milan, Italy, established in 2007.
The band decided to celebrate their 10 year anniversary with a new album, a brand new tour and achieving important goals.
In January 2017, Andead has been the only European band to be invited by Sum 41 (CAN) as a local special guest for their “Don’t Call It a Sum-Back Tour” gig at Mediolanum Forum in Milan. Andead gained respect on both sides: from Sum 41 band members and the crowd in the arena.
On Feb. 25th the video for the first single “I See These Bombs” came out. The song seeks to underline the violation of human rights in Syria and the video sees a young kid trying to cover the strong war images using black paint brushes. The video and the song received the Amnesty International Italia patronage in April 2018.
Album number four “IV The Underdogs” came out in March through Rude Records. The concept of the record is the word “underdog” wich means “person in inferior position”. There are many types of “underdogs” in the world: from persons who were born in a conflict zone, to the ones who are suffering from a serious health or mental issues, to the ones that are simply considered “different” from what the society considers as normal, and for that reason, put on the spot.
Without the help of booking or press agencies, the band started playing all across Italy from club show to squats, from festival stages to local skate parks. DIY style.
Several times, Andead played the opening spots for foreign bands touring in Italy: from Tiger Army (USA) to Get Dead (USA), from Frank Turner (UK) to Street Dogs (USA), from Teenage Bottlerockets (USA) to Rumjacks (AUS).
During the summer of the same year Andead was invited to play at Bay Fest in Bellaria, Italy, supporing Bad Religion, Pennywise and Good Riddance.
Autumn live season starts with some local shows with some of the best Italian acts and some squat shows, because “these are the spots where punk rock belongs to”.
In January 2018, Andead supported a couple of benefit festival: “Rock Against Cancer” arena show and “Amnesty In Rock”, where they presented a brand new song called “#DEFEND” that talks about the effort of human rights defenders all over the world.
Andead played a sold out show at Magazzini Generali in Milan, opening for Italian heroes Fast Animals and Slow Kids.
Different booking agencies called Andead again for international acts opening spots, such as Satanic Surfers (SWE), Teenage Bottlerock (USA), The Queers and Anti Flag (USA).
In May, the band communicates they will be part of Punk Rock Holiday festival in Tolmin (SLO) for the second time in their career and they will also join one of the biggest festivals in Europe: Sziget 2018.
The future looks bright for the underdogs…
