Dentro l'Acquario tutto si muove ad un ritmo diverso. È un mondo protetto e vibrante, in cui è naturale immergersi e perdersi per ore ed ore tra movimenti lenti e sfrenati, tra sonorità techno e armonie abissali.

Acquario è un progetto autofinanziato, nato all’interno dell’associazione culturale Masada. Qui ritmi profondi e abissali trovano il loro ambiente ideale.

In apertura torna Samuel con il suo progetto Multicast Dynamics e una sorpresa che presto vi sveleremo.
Per poi accogliere per la prima volta nel salotto Nuel, ospite tanto atteso.

NUEL [Midgar Records]
Nuel è un DJ, musicista e produttore italiano, nonché scultore di suoni perfettamente ipnotici e meditativi. Distilla ritmo, groove e texture in composizioni potenti che possono essere techno, ambient, di richiamo trance o completamente downtempo.
È quello che fa con esiti sorprendenti e avvincenti in forma di LP su etichette come Further e Aquaplano, così come per progetti solo su altre. È anche partner in studio di Donato Dozzy: insieme il duo ha rilasciato molta deep techno influente, paesaggi sonori minimal e tribal corteggiati da molti.
Parte della new wave di produttori italiani, Nuel non è uno che riesce a stare fermo per troppo tempo. Diverse anche le collaborazioni con Semantica Records, Kunstrukt, Kontra-Musik/Ulf Eriksson e, tra le altre, Midgar Records.
Come DJ, il suo focus è su mood, texture e atmosfere, nell'impresa di risucchiare le persone nella sua morbidezza elastica, ombrosa eppure sorprendente techno-visone ogni volta che suona. Dispone in strati synth allungati, sottili bleep e blips e un intero mondo di motivi intergalattici che ti fanno pensare di essere in volo attraverso lo spazio più profondo e oscuro o in viaggio verso il centro della terra.
I suoi suoni sono sapientemente ridotti eppure magistralmente carichi di impatto, giungono sempre permeati e colorati di un senso di ipnotismo cerebrale che, semplicemente, non può essere emulato.

MULTICAST DYNAMICS [Astral Industries, Denovali]
Samuel van Dijk è affascinato dai contrasti. Esplora la tensione che proviene da atmosfere costruite con cura e da ritmi ruvidi, come le dolci onde che si infrangono contro le pareti di roccia spigolose o pattern di batteria secchi addolciti da morbidi pad.
È altrettanto concentrato sulle dinamiche musicali; con accordi ampi e in espansione spaziale, che creano un effetto, però, d’intimità. Le sue non sono semplici tracce ma veri e propri paesaggi sonori, dove coesistono stati d'animo euforici e bassi profondi, dove piccoli dettagli catturano l'attenzione della tua mente mentre le percussioni. dirette e incisive, producono un impatto fisico immediato. Esplora il ruvido e il liscio, il forte e il silenzioso, il cerebrale e il viscerale nei mondi acquatici e naturalistici dove electro, techno, dub e ambient sono fusi in una cosa sola.
Sia come produttore che come live act , l'olandese può portarti dai confini più remoti dello spazio, alle profondità di un abisso oceanico attraverso tundre ghiacciate. Lo fa sotto tre alias: VC-118A, Mohlao, Multicast Dynamics, ma tutti sono interconnessi e correlati, con un approccio modulare alla creazione e all'esecuzione della musica, il che significa che un live break può essere facilmente trasformato in un paesaggio sonoro astratto riducendo e modificando elementi, giocando con trame e rielaborando le strutture.
L'ultimo decennio ha visto van Dijk pubblicare una vasta discografia su alcune tra le migliori etichette come Delsin, Frustrated Funk e Silent Season.
Questa volta, ad Acquario, vi proponiamo il suo lato più ambient in un ibrido di 3 ore come Multicast Dynamics.

Within the Acquario everything moves to a different tune. It is a safe and vibrant world, in which you immerse yourself naturally and get lost for hours and hours between slow and wild movements, sounds and harmonies from the abyss.
Acquario: immersions, #technodivani (which litteraly means “technosofas”)

Acquario is a self-financed project, born in the cultural hub of the association Masada. Here deep rhythms find their right habitat.


NUEL
Nuel is an Italian DJ, live musician and producer who has a reputation for sculpting perfectly hypnotic and meditative sounds. He distills rhythm, groove and texture into powerful compositions that can be techno, can be ambient or can be trance inducing and wholly downtempo.
He does so to stunningly absorbing effect in LP form on labels like Further and Aquaplano and as well as his solo concerns, Nuel is also a chief studio partner of Donato Dozzy: together the pair have put out many seminal deep techno, minimal and tribal soundscapes that are much fawned over.
Part of a new wave of Italian techno producers, Nuel isn't someone to sit still for too long. As well as those expensive and highly sought after Aquaplano EPs, he has also put out perfectly smooth and compelling drum & bass and electro beats and has recently been locked away working on a wealth of new material. In 2016 he releases EPs on a number of labels, as well as a sophomore full length on Seattle’s Further Records in 2016 entitled Hyperboreal.
As a DJ, Nuel is just as focussed on mood, texture and atmosphere and manages to suck people into his supple, shadowy yet surprizing techno-scapes whenever he plays. He layers up elongated synths, subtle bleeps and blips and a whole world of intergalactic motifs that make you feel as if you are flying through deepest darkest space or travelling to the centre of the earth. His sounds are expertly reduced yet masterfully
impactful, always coming imbued with a cerebral sense of hypnotism that you simply cannot fake.

MULTICAST DYNAMICS
Samuel van Dijk is fascinated by contrasts. He explore the tension coming from carefully built atmospheres and rough rytms, like the smooth waves wich breaks on the hard rocks or drums patterns sweetened by blooming pads. He is likewise focused on the musical dynamics: with expanding chords creating an intimity effect. His tracks are soundscapes containing euphoric states and deep basses, where small details catch the attention of your mind while the drums, rough and direct, have and immediate impact. He explores smooth and rough, noise and silence, psychedelic and deep in naturalistic worlds where electro, techno, dub and ambient are fused together in one thing.
As well as a producer and live act, the Dutch can bring you from the remote boundaries of space, to the deep of the ocean through cracling and iced tundras. He does all that under three aliases: VC-118A, Mohlao and Multicast Dynamics but they are all interconnected with a modular approach to the creation and esecution of music. That means that a pumping breakbeat live can be easily transformed in an abstract soundscape by reducing and modifying elements, playing with textures and reworking structures.
The last decade has seen Van Dijk releasing a lot of music on some of the most well curated labels as Delsin, Frustrated Funk and Silent Season.
