BIOGRAFIA (IT)

Alessandro Medri è un cantante, chitarrista e vocal coach. Ha iniziato la sua carriera nel 2004 dopo essersi diplomato in chitarra moderna presso la filiale italiana del L.A.M.A. di Frank Gambale e in concomitanza con gli studi universitari in comunicazione multimediale e marketing.

Il suo debutto nel mondo della musica è stato a 17 anni con la band pop/reggae Rudysirie, che nel 2002 ha pubblicato un EP omonimo di 3 tracce.
Due anni dopo la band firma un contratto discografico con l'etichetta indipendente italiana TamTam Studio Recordings, con la quale viene prodotto il primo LP.
Dopo aver cambiato il nome in "Mamasita", nel 2007 viene rilasciato "Per Buona Sorte", la prima di 8 uscite in 13 anni di attività.

Alessandro è stato uno dei quattro co-fondatori della band, in cui ha interpretato il ruolo di chitarrista, cantante, arrangiatore e compositore.
Durante la lunga e prospera attività della band, si sono esibiti in centinaia di concerti in tutta Italia (l'ultimo con un pubblico di 80.000 persone) con una band di 9 musicisti, entrando in programmazione nelle principali radio italiane e firmando la colonna sonora di diversi spot televisivi nazionali di grandi marchi.

Durante questo periodo ha anche iniziato a lavorare come compositore di musica per spot pubblicitari all'interno della TamTam Studio Recording, apprendendo competenze che lo rendono ora un produttore e performer vocale veloce professionale e molto dedicato.

Dal 2006 al 2011 ha lavorato con diversi cantautori italiani come turnista, oltre ad esibirsi live come cantante e chitarrista con una tribute band di Jimi Hendrix capitanata dall'amico Nicola Brandi.

Nel settembre 2011, in soli tre mesi, ha aperto insieme alla moglie Sara, la prima Accademia di musica e danza contemporanea della città, "Accademia 49", giunta oramai alla soglia dei 10 anni di attività e successo.

Nel 2013 ha l'onore di cantare al VIP wedding di Belen Rodriguez e Stefano De Martino, grazie alla sua mentore, la regina del Gospel Cheryl Porter, direttrice artistica dell'evento.

Nel 2014 diventa il nuovo cantante del gruppo metal italiano "Figure Of Six", con il quale produce "Welcome To The Freak Show", un complesso concept album multi-layer che riassume perfettamente le sue capacità di compositore, paroliere e performer vocale.
Nello stesso anno incontra Alessandro Montalti, cantante della band metal "Several Union", con cui da vita al duo acustico tributo al rock anni 90, tutt'ora attivo, denominato "Tonight Falls".

Nel 2017 ha lavorato per il web roster Metal For Hire, producendo 6 diversi progetti vocali per artisti da tutto il mondo.

E nel 2018 ha firmato con Aeon Music Management come produttore e session player.

Attualmente è impegnato nella scrittura di brani inediti che prenderanno forma nel prossimo anno.

Alessandro Medri is an Italian singer, guitarist and vocal coach. He started his career in 2004 after graduating in contemporary guitar performance at the Italian branch of Frank Gambale’s L.A.M.A. and in conjunction with a bachelor’s degree in multimedia communication and marketing.

His debut in the music business was at 17 years old with the pop/reggae band Rudysirie in 2002, with a self titled 3 track EP. Two years later the band signed a record deal with the indie Italian label TamTam Studio Recordings, this is when they started writing the first LP. After changing the name to ‘Mamasita’ in 2007 “Per Buona Sorte” was released, the first of 8 releases during 13 years of activity.

Alessandro was one of the four co-founders of the band, in which he played the position of guitarist, backing vocalist, guitar and vocal arranger and occasional composer. During the long and prosper activity of the band, they performed hundreds of concerts all around Italy (the last one with a 80k people audience) with a crew of 9 musicians, reaching top charts on Italian mainstream radios and working with several national TV commercials for top multinational brands.

During this time he also began working as professional music composer for commercials inside TamTam Studio Recording, learning skills that make him now a fast and professional vocal producer and performer, very dedicated to his craft.

From 2006 to 2011 he worked with multiple Italian songwriters as a session guitarist, backing vocalist, as well as performing with a Jimi Hendrix tribute band as singer and guitarist.

In September 2011 , in just three months, he opened his own contemporary music and dance academy, “Accademia 49”. He put all his efforts into this for the next couple of years in order to make it the first school of the area.

In 2013 he has the honor to be part of the VVIP Belen Rodriguez wedding as singer, engaged by his mentor, the Queen Of Gospel herself, Mrs. Cheryl Porter.

In 2014 he became the new lead singer of Italian Metal Band “Figure Of Six”, where he started composing “Welcome To The Freak Show”, a complex, multi-layer concept album that perfectly sums up his skills as a composer, lyricist and vocal performer.
During the same year he meets Alessandro Montalti, lead singer of the metal band "Several Union",

During 2017 he worked for Metal For Hire web roster, producing 6 different vocal projects for people all over the world.

And in 2018 he signed with Aeon Music Management as vocal producer and performer.

He is actually writing a new album (music, arrangements, performance and lyrics) for a brand new secret project.
